THIS INDENTURE, Made The 6th day of February one thousand nine hundred and Twenty
BETWEEN Mrs. N. C. STREIG of the Town of Lake City, County of Modoc, State of California, the party of the first part, and Samuel C. PAINTER of the same place County and State, the party of the second part,
WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and 00/100 ($10.00) Dollars, Lawful money of the United States of America to her in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever; all that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate in the Town of Lake City, County of Modoc, State of California and bounded and particularly described as follows, to wit:--
The South half (S1/2) of lot numbered five (5) in Block J. as per map and plat of Town of Lake City, of record in the office of the recorder of Modoc County, same being a piece of land 20 feet from on Main Street and 130 feet more or less, deep.

TOGETHER with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular the said premises, together with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever.
