COARSEGOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY - P.O. Box 117, Coarsegold, CA 93614. (559) 642-4448. Museum at 31899 Highway 41 south of Chukchansi Canino's Lucky Lane. Hours vary by season, so call first.

MADERA COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY is located at the old Court House at 210 W. Yosemite, Madera, CA, 93639. It is open Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Phone (559) 673-0291.

FRESNO COUNTY GENEALOGY SOCIETY holds general meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, except August and December. Meetings are held at the Woodward Park Regional Library, 944 East Perrin Avenue at Champlain Drive. There is adequate free parking for all. All visitors are welcome. Phone (559) 600-6230.

IMMIGRANT GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY is located 1310 West Magnolia Blvd., Burbank, CA 91510-7369. (818) 848-3122. The library is open Wednesday 12:00 - 5:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Sunday 12:00 - 5:00 PM. An excellent selection of books to trace Americans to their ancestor's origins, particularly from German speaking areas of Europe. A small fee is charged for the library's use or for mail searches.

NORCAL Mailing List. This is an e-mail list of genealogists and historians researching northern California. Members submit queries, answers, articles, and other genealogical information via E-Mail.
