HIGH VALLEY SCHOOL

(Picture unavailable)

There were three schoolhouses in High Valley at different times. The first was on what would become the Lloyd Lambert place. In the 1880s Mrs. Cannon (Ozenberger) of Middletown taught in the High Valley School. The school building was near the main road, on the north side. Mrs. George Foutch taught for a year in the school around 1899 to 1901.
